Facebook - a "huge" social network - is growing steadily, Facebook recently launched a series of changes to its network to protect the personal image of Facebook users. As 'Profile Picture Guard' will restrict users from downloading and sharing other people's avatar images, this is a great step from Facebook to prevent stealing of other people's avatars on Facebook.
New tools have been developed in collaboration with safety organizations including the Center for Social Research and the Learning Links Foundation in New Delhi. Here's how to use "Profile picture guard" mode to protect your personal photos on Facebook and prevent others from downloading and sharing your photos.
Step 1. First of all, you need to download and install the Facebook application on your mobile phone. If you already have this application, update it from Google Play or the App Store.
Step 2. Now open your profile in the Facebook application and at the top of the profile picture you will see the 'Try Profile Picture Guard' option, click Turn On.
Step 3. On the next page, Facebook will introduce you to the latest security tool, click the "Next" button to continue.
Step 4. The next page, you will be previewed the Facebook avatar in "Guard" mode, then press the "Save" button.
Step 5. So your personal avatar is protected.
