If you have installed the Facebook application on Android in the past 3 years, it is possible that all your calls and messages have been recorded by the world's largest social network. More than ever, right now you need to protect your personal information and privacy when you use it.

If you have followed the steps, do one more step to enhance the higher security layer, specifically the reader needs to prevent the Facebook Messenger application from accessing his contacts below.

Messenger will upload contacts from your device if you have continuous sync turned on, if you want to turn off Facebook Messenger contacts sync, do the following:

    Step 1:

On the phone device, you access the Messenger application and go to your profile section.

Find your profile section on Messenger

    Step 2:

Here, you scroll down and select Everyone, then turn off the Sync your contacts feature. Doing this also means that you have deleted all the data that you previously backed up.

Select Everyone Select Ok to turn off syncing Messenger contacts

    Note:

If you use Messenger for the first time, readers should not allow Messenger access to your contacts. Instead of syncing, readers should select "Not now".
